On the Number of Periodic Classical Trajectories in a Hamiltonian System

Periodic classical trajectories are of fundamental importance both in classical and quantum physics. Here we develop path integral techniques to investigate such trajectories in an arbitrary, not necessarily energy conserving hamiltonian system. In particular, we present a simple derivation of a lower bound for the number of periodic classical trajectories.

a study on insurer solvency by panel data model: the case of iranian insurance market

the aim of this thesis is an approach for assessing insurer’s solvency for iranian insurance companies. we use of economic data with both time series and cross-sectional variation, thus by using the panel data model will survey the insurer solvency.

since esp received universal attention to smooth the path for academic studies and productions, a great deal of research and studies have been directed towards this area. swales’ (1990) model of ra introduction move analysis has served a pioneering role of guiding many relevant studies and has proven to be productive in terms of helpful guidelines that are the outcome of voluminous productions ...

On the Convex Pfaff-darboux Theorem of Ekeland and Nirenberg

The classical Pfaff-Darboux Theorem, which provides local ‘normal forms’ for 1-forms on manifolds, has applications in the theory of certain economic models [3]. However, the normal forms needed in these models come with an additional requirement of convexity, which is not provided by the classical proofs of the Pfaff-Darboux Theorem. (The appropriate notion of ‘convexity’ is a feature of the e...

A Direct Proof of a Theorem Concerning Singular Hamiltonian Systems

This technical report presents a direct proof of Theorem 1 in [1] and some consequences that also account for (20) in [1]. This direct proof exploits a state space change of basis which replaces the coupled difference equations (10) in [1] with two equivalent difference equations which, instead, are decoupled.
